By johntanyishin

Network marketing downline, or the people that have joined under your network marketing group. Recruiting them is a challenging task, retaining them is even tougher.

If you are in a network marketing business, there are times when you have people leaving your group faster than new members join. They become stagnant and vanish from your business. Below are seven ways for you to create and retain a mighty team.

1. Call them once in a while. If you are like me, doing network marketing online, calling them can give them a personal feel. If not, drop them an email to find out more about their current status. How frequently should you be calling them? That depends on you as well. Some people feel the need to contact their downline everyday. The best is to make them happy but aware of your support that you are willing to give them whenever they need it.

2. Be committed to their success. When you have spent so much time and energy recruiting them, why let your team mebers leave as a result of overlook? You want to maintain the professional relationship but you must show that you care for them as well. The size of your network marketing downline determines your income from your network marketing business.

3. Fostering better relationships. Each individual has his unique strengths and weaknesses. Network marketing is also known as relationship marketing as well. Because it is more about building strong bonds between people rather than just selling. New members need to be comfortable with the surroundings. Also, you want present members to know where to get support when they need it.

4. Always be in ahead of the game. Based on what you have learnt about them, try to expect what they want out of this business. People will have a primary goal when they join a network marketing business. Show that you are sincere in helping them what they want to achieve.

5. Keep track of your members. Be gratified that you have people under your team because somebody is struggling hard to find his first business partner. Know their likes and dislikes, birthdays, hobbies, etc. You will be respected for being able to think of little but significant things to them.

6. Always be there for them. When you are talking to your network marketing downline, let them feel that they have absolute support from you. Remember that everyone needs to have a supportive mentor who can help them in this business. Communicating them effectively is a paramount factor in creating a huge successful team.

7. Adding value instead of thinking the benefits you will gain from them. Always think of how you can help them in their business instead of the financial gain that you will derive from. Have the right attitude because the more people you have helped, the nearer you are towards success.

7. Always think of the value you are giving to people. When you deliver your product, you think of the value it will add to people’s lives.
