The Four Different Leaflet Distribution Flavours (business marketing solutions) - Which One Are You?

November 23rd, 2008 admin Posted in marketing No Comments »

By Dominic Donaldson

For years the advertising and marketing industry have been selling their wares and getting their messages across through leaflet distribution. It’s a simple and cost effective way of raising a profile and selling a product, but there is a lot more to it than a piece of paper with text and graphics printed on it. There are several other factors at play; location, amount, coverage and even what type of leaflet.

The type of leaflet used in a leaflet distribution campaign can say a lot about the product or service you are advertising. It can convey humour or seriousness, the quality of your product and the availability. The choice of what type of medium you choose in your leaflet distribution campaign should be one of the first decisions you make. Making the wrong decision could completely negate any positive effects that the rest of your campaign has.

The word leaflet is widely used to encompass all forms of printed material that can be used in leaflet distribution but also has a more specific meaning. There are in fact four different types of printed material that can be used in a campaign of which a leaflet is just one.

Leaflet - A leaflet is a single printed piece of paper which is usually folded. These leaflets are also known as flyers. They are the easiest to produce, both logistically and economically, and can be used to promote everything from businesses to products and services. They are commonly posted through letter boxes, handed out in the street or inserted into newspapers. Flyers come in many sizes and can be very plain or given a glossy finish to convey a certain image.

Their widespread use has been complimented by the increase in desktop publishing and the ability to combine text and images on home computers. The finished products can be printed at home or sent to a commercial printer. In both instances the images, the message is printed on just one side although this is not always so and leaflets with print on both sides are increasingly common.

Pamphlet - A pamphlet is an unbound series of printed sheets. For businesses or products that have more to advertise or say using a pamphlet in a leaflet distribution campaign is preferable to a leaflet in that it has more space and scope to explain sometimes complicated or list several products or services and any variations on those products or services as well. The fact that it is unbound also means that it is still an affordable option for most businesses.

Pamphlets are often used by businesses that offer a more bespoke service or to sell products that are more exclusive or high end. The look of a pamphlet conveys more of a degree of quality and that can be important depending on what is being advertised.

Poster - Posters can come in all sorts of sizes, usually from A4 onwards. Although posters are more suited to site specific campaigns and are associated with billboards they are becoming increasingly popular in leaflet distribution. They are not as disposable as pamphlets and leaflets and so the thought is that they will be kept longer and displayed in places that it is not easy to get a message displayed. They also convey added quality.

Brochure - A brochure is a step up from a pamphlet in that it is often bound and printed on higher quality material. A brochure is designed to be kept a lot longer than pamphlets and leaflets, often as long as a year. Brochures go into more detail and contain more information and are used in leaflet distribution to advertise top end services and products.

Personal Coaching and Internet Marketing
By Michael Soliven

So you’ve just started an online business. The feeling of excitement is there as you’re dreams of making tons of money flood your mind. But what’s next?

Many beginning Internet marketers fall into the trap of not preparing themselves for the tough tasks ahead of running a business. Many people have profited from the Internet. However, there are countless novices who have failed due to lack of direction in effective online marketing.

This is where personal coaching and mentorship become very important. I’m sure you’ve been sold on the fact that the online business you’ve just gotten into is the next big thing. The person or sponsor who brought you in is probably excited too, because that means more money for them. But what steps have you taken to really get to know this person? Have you made contact with them? I’ve compiled a list of important things to keep in mind when you’re looking to create a business relationship with someone.

1. Always talk to the person FIRST before signing up.

If you’re on the verge of signing up with a potential sponsor, it’s a very good idea to make contact with that person. Do they have a number that you can call? Are they easy to talk to? Are they knowledgeable of the product or service that you’ll be marketing? Will they support and direct you? Get to know this person, because they will most likely determine your success in that program.

2. Have weekly contact with your sponsor.

If you’re new to Internet marketing, you’re going to need develop a game plan. Does your new sponsor/coach have a duplicatable plan in place for you? This person must be an effective teacher for you to succeed. Learning from trial and error is fine, but why take that route when someone else has already experienced the process. Set weekly meetings with this person, so that they can help you track your progress and hold you accountable for your goals.

3. Be a coach to someone else.

Finally, your online success is probably going to be determined by how effective of a coach you are to others. Your business will be successful, and you must teach others how to be successful as well. Be in contact with your new people. Add value to them. Show them what works for you. You will see your business explode if you just help others. Zig Ziglar, the sales and marketing legend, says that if you help just enough people get what they want, you will get what you want!

Learn About The Banyan Tree Branching Method In MLM
By Lou Casali

Network marketing scheme is like a banyan tree that can grow to several hectares with its several thousand arms.

Every Down Line is a Share that is similar to the shoot that comes out of the banyan tree.

The value of each share varies per market performance, the strength of each shoot of the Banyan Tree depends on how it deep roots itself and finds nourishment.

Life changing money in network marketing does not come unless you have aggression.

Aggression in performance is the key to success, aggression in creating a lot of shoots like the banyan tree.

Aggression in continuing to grow yourself. You do not stop with creating down lines, but you continue to make more and more sales and more and more recruitment.

The main branch of the banyan tree continues to grow even after it gives out a 1000 branches or more. Every up line should continue to grow even after they make the down lines.

Everything has a price to pay, if you need to make life changing money with network marketing you need to show strength of personality and you have to pay the price of great character.

After you have met with your minimum down line targets you have to continue to be selling and recruiting for several reasons. If you continue to be selling and recruiting throughout your MLM life span, your growth will not be affected due to broken down lines. Rather your growth will be constant and up going, if your down lines outperforms you are going to benefit; even if they perform at a low rate, you will be having a constant growth assuming that if one branch of your down line fails the other will perform. Even if your growth is not going to be exponentially high, it will be adding up each year.

The up line distributor has better merits and benefits than the other recruit down lines because he joined the race a bit earlier than others. This is similar to the many arms of the banyan tree; the early arms deep root and balance the tree and they are strong and better than new roots; the stronger you are as an up line the more money you make.

The primary trunk of the banyan tree continues to grow through hectares supported by several arms. Similarly, the MLM system spreads with the support of several down lines and further recruits so that they deep root enough to make a consistent sale always.

Even though the banyan tree makes lot of arms to root it self, the primary trunk and the old trunks continue to grow! It is because of this growth pattern the banyan tree stays strong and good despite having so many shoots.

If the tree would have allowed the shoots to grow and if the primary trunk stopped performing or growing, then the whole system would fall.

The process of the main branch and every new shoot continuing to grow is also another reason for why the tree will be able to stand strong even if one of the shoots get cut off or do not perform.

Using Telemarketing Services Is A Good Way (small business marketing) To Reach People

November 23rd, 2008 admin Posted in marketing No Comments »

By MIKE SELVON

There are telemarketing services available to anyone searching for a better avenue of direct marketing. Telemarketing calls can be cheaper than modern advertising for some. Prices vary, as they do for any service, and are dependent on what type of service the company or individual is looking to procure. The great thing about telemarketing is that, although some people are hard to reach over the phone, it is somewhat of a personal way to reach clients and possible future clients.

One reason to use a telemarketing service is to reach a large number of people in a short amount of time. While email is great, talking with someone personally over the phone is better. It tells them you’re putting the time and effort into gaining their trust and support.

For some companies, it is just more convenient to leave the marketing up to someone else. Making tons of telemarketing calls can be time consuming and more expensive than if you just hire another company to accomplish this task for you.

If a company is growing extremely rapidly, then telemarketing can sometimes be the quickest way to reach who you want, when you want. Lastly, if a company has put a product out and wants to know exactly what people think of it, then the direct marketing calls can use survey techniques to get a feel for how well that product is doing.

Not all telemarketing services are listed under that particular service. If you’re looking for surveys to be done, then you may find it listed under research or survey taking. Other types of telemarketing calls that can be found are inbound and outbound calls.

Inbound is for those expecting lots of incoming calls and outbound are mostly for sales calls. Some outbound calls, however, are simply used to keep current information on clients so that mailers or other forms of advertising can reach the right people. Surveys are mostly used for research purposes on a product or service offered by that company.

To be realistic, sometimes telemarketing services aren’t the best way to reach people, but they can be cheaper. It is important to hire a reputable telemarketing company or you could end up losing business, rather than gaining clientele.

Look around and get some referrals and read reviews. The better the callers in the telemarketing company, the more likely your business is to succeed. No matter what kind of telemarketing service you’re looking for, it can be a great help to the growth of your company.

Google has cracked down on junk Adsense (home based business marketing) sites, like they should.

November 21st, 2008 admin Posted in marketing No Comments »

By aditi0004

Recent changes in the Google Adsense program has many online website owners and marketers seriously concerned. Many have seen their Adsense profits and income flatline… seen their four or five figure monthly Adsense income disappear overnight. For many the Google Adsense bubble has burst.

What happened?

First, Google made a change in its Adsense program, letting advertisers choose between putting their ads in the search results or on the content pages of Adsense publishers. Search won out and started to receive the higher bids. For more results login on to www.thegoogleincome.com. Search results convert better than content ads.

Next, Google has cracked down on Junk Adsense sites, like they should. These sites consisted mainly of software generated re-hashed search engine links and were totally annoying to say the least. But Google also cracked down on ’squeeze pages’ or ‘affiliate landing pages’ - a lucrative source of income for many online marketers, mainly because these pages helped marketers build an opt-in list or use permission based email.

Many affiliate marketers would agree with Boulch on some of his points, especially the obvious fact that using Adsense on your web content is starting on the bottom rung of the online marketing ladder. Instead of receiving pennies per click with Adsense, alert marketers and webmasters have already discovered that by using CPA (Cost-Per-Action) and direct affiliate links, they can produce significantly more revenue from their web pages. Why earn pennies per click when you can earn $5, $10 or OVER $100 per click?

But the fine people at Google are catching on…

In the past Google has made its own swing to the Cost-Per-Action direction with its referral system for the Firefox Browser and giving webmasters credit for signing up Adwords and Adsense accounts.

As more and more commerce goes online… acquiring customers for such diverse services as insurance, real estate, telephone, marketing, web hosting, travel, mortgage loans, cable TV, banking… you name it, almost any service or product sold in the marketplace is now turning to the Internet for customers and lifelong clients.

It can also mean huge profits for the CPA networks like ValueClick’s Commission Junction and Rakuten’s LinkShare who supply the advertisers with publishers and website marketers to harvest these leads. It can be a lucrative venture for all involved, especially for those online marketers who have cornered the search engines for lucrative niche markets in big ticket items. Even small ticket items pay quite well for those marketers who know how to market online.

Of course, cutting out the middle man has always been even a more profitable venture for most marketers. As more and more webmasters realize they can make much more with dealing directly with companies, rather than going through a middle process like Google Adsense or the countless other affiliate/CPA networks … online marketers can reap even bigger rewards.

For an online marketer when you get a phone call or email from the CEO or the affiliate manager with a company or service you’re promoting with your website - you know you have made it! Dealing directly with a company usually means bigger commissions and special exclusive deals just for you or your sites.

Only fly in the ointment, all that extra paperwork and business wheeling and dealing. Many marketers and website owners like the idea of someone else handling all the tracking, collecting payments, promotional materials… they just like to sit back and build more websites and content. You can login on to www.youradsenseincome.com. It gives the affiliate marketer a lifestyle that they are looking for on the web. They just like to market and promote with their sites and let someone else worry about the details. Therefore, there will always be a place for contextual ads like Google Adsense… “Rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated.”

However, could CPA be a better alternative for the current Adsense contextual ads?

Google would be the natural choice for a middleman if there ever was one. Besides, many savvy marketers know the Google brand name is trusted online, any product/service promoted through Google would be an easy sell. Many argue Google already dominates the web, why should it not be the one to handle these CPA transactions through its Adsense program.

Build Your Internet Business With Google
By Eugene Ye

When thinking about launching or expanding your small business, it would be in your best interests to consider using Google to help you along. They aren’t just a search engine anymore, and with their many options and versatile tools they are able to go head to head with Microsoft in many areas. Google now has many services that can effectively assist you in operating and directing your business in an online capacity. They are able to offer you online advertising through AdWords and monetization of your content using AdSense, get your site indexed faster using Webmaster tools, and even encourage you to create a blog using Google’s Blogger. Or you can build a website using Google Website. For those of you that are uninformed as to what direction Google has headed, you may want to consider taking a few moments and read this to catch up. It may be helpful, especially if you have a business.

Building your Internet business with Google is perfect for those looking for a way to engage in full time employment as well as those just wishing to make a supplemental income. The cost to do such a thing is rather inexpensive, when you pay only for a domain name and web hosting fees per month. The steps are relatively simple and easy to understand as well. So let’s start at the beginning.

You’ve got your site up and ready to roll and now you need ways to attract traffic and make some easy cash. Google offers two advertising programs named AdWords and AdSense that can generate an influx of traffic and cash your way. AdSense can help you capitalize on your site’s profit potential with contextually targeted ads, and it allows you to customize the ads to enhance the overall appearance and user friendliness of your site. AdSense will also track and provide online reports of different formats that prove successful.

With AdSense, you are allowed to choose text or imaged ads for your site that are applicable to your viewers and your site content. Most times, the ads are so precisely matched to your viewers that they will find them valuable. The Google’s AdSense automatically matches ads to your site’s content, and each time a viewer click’s on the ad you earn money.

Another way to generate traffic and possible money to your site is to get your site indexed faster using Webmaster tools. With Google’s Webmaster tools, you are able to improve your site’s visibility, and you’re also provided detailed reports about how often and where it appears on Google. It will show you how Google crawls and indexes your site and diagnose problems with accessing it.

Your sites have been indexed using Webmaster tools, and you’ve added AdSense applications to your site. Now you need to blog using Google’s Blogger. If you don’t have an account with Blogger, create one now using the most popular keywords associated with your site and it’s context. Make sure your introduction post and profile information is creative and catchy enough to attract viewers with links to your website. You may even wish to post some examples or articles of the context related to your site along with the links to further entice traffic. Again, you want to make sure you use top queries to draw traffic, and you can find them using Webmaster tools.

Website building using Google sites can only benefit you and make your life much easier. You don’t want your site to be lost with the never ending occupants of Google’s Sandbox, and if your site is creative, maintained, and updated regularly it won’t be. The process is not as confusing as it sounds, and with dedication and time you will find your way to a successful moneymaker.

Reason #5 for (business marketing) not making $100,000 in Your Business

November 21st, 2008 admin Posted in marketing No Comments »

By Justin Lukasavige

Marketing to yourself instead of your target market

Picture yourself as a business owner with a problem. You have a problem because your company, which has been successful in the past, has been experiencing a downturn. If you are a business owner you probably do not have to use much imagination because this business owner is probably you.

When you begin to analyze the reasons of a downturn in business it is very easy to blame the economy. “All businesses are doing bad, just look at the economy!” I hear this one all too often. But what if we thought different? What if, instead of blaming the economy for our business downturn, we embrace it and actually use a slowing economy to our benefit? What would it look like for your business to be thriving in a down period?

That is exactly what I have been coaching business owners to do. In fact, I think that now is a great time to start a business. You heard it right. Instead of blaming external factors, how about we embrace them!

If the economy has changed, that’s perfectly ok. If your business is suffering now, the market has somehow changed. My question to you is what have you not changed either your marketing plan or your entire business model to keep up with the change? If you are not marketing to consumers who need your product or service then in the long run, you are really only marketing to yourself. I for one am willing to bet that you will not be able to purchase enough from your company to stay in business. Why not change?

Newest (online business marketing) And Hotest Offline Advertising Trends

November 21st, 2008 admin Posted in marketing No Comments »

By Karl Sultana

The advertising budget for each company is in the forefront, because the launch of a product or a campaign is international. If advertising is through billboards, TV commercials and radio, it remains restricted, but through the internet it is possible to cross borders and cultures and reach out globally.

The basic trend today is to be able to choose the type of advertisement and information that you are looking for. Hence, if a consumer decides to buy a digital camera, he logs on to the internet and looks up advertisements to choose what is most suitable for him. This basic trend of freedom of the consumer has come in with the advent of the internet. Earlier, the consumer just heard or saw whatever the companies offered. All new products were advertised through celebrity advertising or billboard advertising and the viewer was not always a consumer. But today the trend has changed, but competition has also turned fierce and aggressive.

Advertising agencies and ad networks are advertising products and messages through different ways. It is not enough to advertise the product through a 30-second slot on television, there have to be other methods of marketing and advertising and hence radio, print as well as internet is covered. Advertisers have to cater to multiple touch points so that their product is known to all. This involves huge finances, and the whole system has to be planned immaculately.

There are several new forms of advertising to reach out to the growing online audiences. Advertising can be learnt and studied as a profession and you can be awarded college degrees for it. If you have the creativity you can help to give any company a big breakthrough with effective advertising. One day the online and real worlds will merge totally, because life online is indeed moving very fast for advertisers and consumers.

One of the most disturbing trends in advertising is the art of hidden persuasion that is exercised today on consumers. Mental manipulation is the trick that is used when a car salesman offers you a free test drive, or when you land up buying more than what you wanted even if you don’t have the money, because the shop just offered you easy finance, and the consumer fell for it. This type of advertising called subliminal advertising is used by government bodies and corporations by using propaganda, fake news or mind control scripts.

There are several aspects of the new trends which have been introduced for advertising. A beautiful, slim, sexy girl represents and advertises each and every product, whether it is a car battery or a cell phone, and the picture sticks in the minds of the consumer, and indirectly the product.

Some trends are nevertheless beneficial for the consumers, and can reach them in the comfort of their home. The information flow and the campaigning that comes through advertising has increased at such a rapid pace, that it is difficult to comply to them fully. It is important to recognize the advertisements as information and creativity, but avoid the feeling of compulsion to go out there and make use of everything that the advertisements proclaim.

Check out Karl Sultana’s search engine optimization tips. He has plenty of free resources on his blog, including a free newsletter, Karl’s SEO Gossip.

The dollar friendly advertising (business marketing solutions) method and ruled supreme for quite a long time.

November 20th, 2008 admin Posted in marketing No Comments »

By Dev Baloria

Advertising on the Web at one time relied almost completely on marketing by email. It was a very dollar friendly advertising method and ruled supreme for quite a long time. But as things and people progressed it was edged out beyond its uses and the result was spam. The fact is it rose to such a levels that governments throughout the world rushed to pass new laws outlawing many forms of email marketing and the people operating it. For more resources go to www.adsense-income-exposed.com. In so much as they almost killed it off completely. In its wake we had adwords and various other pay per click systems. Although very results driven at first. Paid for promotional campaigns can get very costly. Certainly you see visits and the method does work but its does leave a little to be desired. Adwords campaigns can quite easily cost you far more than you could ever hope to make if the scheme or the information you are promoting carries a low ticket price. Especially when we see keyword bids exceeding the 100 dollar mark per click. Then it moved on to list compiling and permission based emailing and each website you go to requires your personal information prior to being able to view what they have to offer. After which you get invaded with emails selling you everything from penis enlargement to scams. This is no more than a new method of email spam but it’s permission based. Hence the term permission email marketing. Excellent if your affiliate scheme is built in a way as to capture or collect email addresses from the visitors and you have a penis enlargement product to promote but you have to get the visitors first or you can’t sign them up to receive your item. So how do we do this without using spam, adwords or the latest advertising wave adsense. What we all want is to get our website visited. Either by utilising the systems described prior or staying with SEO. Search Engine Optimization is no longer an option for most people simply because it is now glaringly obvious that the quickest way to push your site in the top search engine results is to throw unlimited amounts of cash into it, to bring in the all important links. When it comes to links. Not so far back, when it was completely accepted that arranging reciprocal links with sites that complimented yours was the way forward but now with the rise and rise of adsense this is being cast aside also. Adsense is just another method of adwords only now instead of just seeing it on the right hand side of your Google search you find it on virtually every site you visit. This isn’t dollar friendly advertising due to the link to pay per click and adwords so where does that leave us and what does the future hold. The Web is renowned for its inventive approach to any and all obstacles that are placed in its way and advertising your website without breaking the bank is just such an obstacle. Now we witness the emergence of the Search Sub Engine a new innovation that’s all set to move free business advertising on the Net to a higher plain. Using the Search Sub Engine you can advertise your site for weeks for just a couple of dollars and as this phenomenon grows it will no doubt bite into the advertising business already enjoyed by the search engines themselves. Search Sub Engines promise to be adsense free and external advertisement free which won’t put any pressure under the noses of the surfer. You can also visit us at www.youradsenseprofits.com. This should get them directly to your business without any diversions. Search Sub Engines also rotate your listing to enable everyone to have the opportunity to reach the pinnacle top result and pull in those visits, which is more than we have ever had from any of the previous forms of advertising. Looks to be a fantastic idea and an excellent method to advertise for free, and so not breaking the bank. Lets just hope it takes off and if it does, that they don’t go down the same road as all the others by becoming too greedy.

Network Marketing Home Business Hints
By Ben Needles

I have been asked many times - Kozan you have achieved some success, what are some network marketing home business hints and tips that you can give me to help me to get into a network marketing home business successfully. Well here is the article, with the answers, and as you read every word of this article, you will find some great gems of advice.

One of the biggest network marketing home business hints that I can give you is those that will stop you from doing the major errors that get so many people to fail. I am sure you know the process of riding a bike. First you learn, and then you apply, and learn along the way. So the purpose of this article is to let you know about any stones and pebbles on the road.

#1 Network Marketing Home Business Hints - Warning Of Get Rich Quick
The first biggest stumbling block is not on your way to the millions, but on the first step you take. Many network marketing business opportunities exist. Some of these opportunities will market themselves as get rich quick schemes. Though none will tell you directly it is a get rich quick opportunity, you can tell it is, when it says make 6 figures in few months, etc.

Business, whether it is a home based business opportunity, MLM or a McDonalds franchise, needs time to make it work. There is no instant success. To make 6 figures, you will need to put in a 7 figure effort. But, no one tells you this. Just remember for the big bucks, you will need to do more than what you would do in a 9-5 daily grind job.

The biggest network marketing home business hints that I can give you, is to do what you love. Many stars, celebrities, and top achievers achieve great success because they do what they love. It may seem as though it is another way, but look into it. Whoever does what they love to do, naturally gravitate to the top of their field.

#3 Network Marketing Home Business Hints - It Takes Time
Remember a goal you have. This is important. Whenever you are going into an endeavor, remember why you are getting into it. The next home business hint is that of time. We all want to achieve something within a certain time frame, but often it will take longer. Focus on taking the steps. As long as you take the steps, success is assured.

#4 Network Marketing Home Business Hints - Persistence Is The Key
Humanity in the main are good starters, but bad finishers. The key to success is taking a course of action and sticking with it. Make the decision, and once it is made, make the journey. These are essential keys. Success only happens with persistence.

Affiliate Marketing - How To Get Started With No Website, Product, Or List
By Connie Ragen Green

Affiliate marketing has been a way for me to make money online while still developing my own niche and website. You can do the same thing as well, especially if you are new to the internet. It is great to start making some money while you are still learning.

My introduction to affiliate marketing was by writing articles. My website was still under construction, which meant it had not been built yet, my blog was not very interesting, and I was still narrowing down the focus of my niche.

I did have many interests, so I was able to write short articles, about two hundred fifty to three hundred words long, and at the end of each article I included a link to a digital affiliate product that the reader might be interested in purchasing. It was a product that was directly related to the topic of my article.

Within just a few weeks I was making some money. It was less than one hundred dollars that first month, but I knew that it could be increased by writing articles in areas that were very popular with the readers. I focused on just three products instead of writing articles in lots of different areas. My income doubled the next month.

At this point I was ready to start blogging on a regular basis. I started blogs in two of my niches so that I could write blog posts to also promote these same products. It took time to get regular traffic to my blogs, so I continued to write articles at the same time.

It was at this point that I began something call repurposing. I would post to my blog, and then expand that post into an article. It cut down on the time it took to write, and I was increasing my visibility online at the same time. This worked very well and I continued to blog and write articles as I watched my affiliate income rise.

At some point I began to promote people whose courses I had taken. The experienced people all had affiliate programs, so I joined and began to write articles and blog about their various program and courses. Some of them had eBooks and other products, as well as their services, so it increased my income. I was just beginning to build a list, so I then could do an email blast to my people when someone I was an affiliate for had a course beginning soon.

This is how I got started as an affiliate, and now I make enough each month to make my house payment, so I am a very happy affiliate.
