Effective Optimization (online business marketing) through PPC Campaign

November 15th, 2008 admin Posted in marketing | No Comments »

After interacting with a couple of online marketers, I found out that they arent taking the benefits of the available tools to help them improve keywords or wrap keywords efficiently. Adding negative keywords made a difference almost straight away in a particular case.

At the outset, PPC Advertisement will only be as effectual as your keywords. This means that one needs to use the most significant and targeted keywords that are likely to attract the customers one is looking for. Bear in mind that keywords draw visitors and translate to conversions. Once youre through with some testing and assessment of keywords and have the ones you think are the most valuable, you can do a superior job with your PPC campaign.

Split-testing your website is a good method to test your keywords. You can test diverse words on different landing pages, titles, and text. Running a continual campaign to split-test keywords can pay you large amount of money in your PPC planning. If you haven’t by now recognized the best keywords, try this split-testing. Once you have the keywords and key phrases identified, you can use them in your ad campaigns. A lot of resources and PPC tools are available on the Internet and various blogs. These tools will help you categorize your keywords into ‘broad match’, ‘exact match’, and phrase match. This will save you time and make your words more effectual.

And don’t disregard the negative keywords because no website affords to catch the attention of avoidable visitors and worthless clicks. Your PPC plan may not work as well as you fancy because you arent using the best keywords so take advantage of the PPC tools to assist you. Finally, don’t overlook the fundamental law of PPC promote related products and services for enhanced conversion rates.

Optimizing for AdSense Performance
By Luie De Von

Adsense and Adwords are two terms that are often used interchangeable. Unfortunately, they are not the same and should be kept separate at all times. Adsense and Adwords are actually the two separate components that Google uses to place relevant ads on web sites across the internet.

Adwords is the component that people who wish to advertise their sites use in order to gain exposure across the web. Adwords is separate from Adsense, but as they are so closely related, it is understandable how somebody could misuse the two terms.

Adsense is the component that allows people to place ads on their site and get paid a small commission for each click. Adsense is one of the most profitable online advertisement publishing services available, and it has the added benefit of being fairly family friendly. As far as relevance of the ads on your site, Adsense is the best. There is no other service available that provides ads that are as relevant and interesting as those that Google provides. It is rare that you encounter an ad that is not closely related to the content of your web page and if you do encounter such an ad, it was triggered by a word of phrase within youre the page that it appeared on.

If you optimize for AdSense, youre sure to make more money than you thought you would. Residual income is one of the best ways to make money on the web right now, and this article will show you how to make the most of it on your website.

Before you read on, go over to adsense.google.com and take their guided tour. This tour will give you a full overview of what Google AdSense is and how it works, so check it out. Done that? Great! Lets continue.

Positioning.

Where you put your AdSense link boxes and banner ads is vitally important trying to make money by putting them at the bottom of the pages is useless. You need to go a step further and have AdSense links right in the heart of your template, or as close to it as you can get. The best way to determine if your ads are in a visible place is to make sure that they are within the fold. the fold is the top five hundred pixels of your page. The reason that this is such great real-estate, if you will, is because most browsers at most resolutions will display this portion of your site without your visitor having to scroll. If you really want to use sub-prime positions, then you should use more than one.

Linking.

The ad links you put on your site appear as if they were just another menu this is fairly new, and it works very well. By adding Google links to your menus, you can get more click-throughs than youd ever expect. You might not fully understand it until you try it, but once youve got the system in place, youll find that many people wont even realize that the links theyre clicking dont belong to you, and theyll find them useful all the same

Leaderboards and Skyscrapers.

Google AdSense comes in all shapes and sizes. You can put it across the top of your website (a leaderboard) or down the side (a skyscraper), and there are plenty of other choices. These ads might become your bread and butter in the future, so its good to learn as much as you can about them now. The best place to put these ads will be relatively obvious anywhere else just wont look right.

Square and Rectangle Ads.

This size of advertisement is a great compliment to any website, as they offer ads small enough to slot in easily. If you have content then you wont want AdSense to get in its way these sizes can be better at making you some extra money than the bigger ones are.

Don’t forget that many of your visitors are used to seeing AdSense within a website, and will need a good reason to click on them. You can have up to three per page, so be creative.

Filtering AdSense.

The AdSense manager gives you the option of using a competition , which allows you to remove your competitors ads from your site. However, doing this might end up hurting your AdSense efforts after all, isnt it better to take your competitors money than not to get any? Take the time each week to monitor the ads being displayed on your site.

How the Wealthy Affiliate Program (small business marketing) is Really Starting to Make Me Wealthy

November 12th, 2008 admin Posted in marketing | No Comments »

By Carmen T. Wilson

I discovered affiliate marketing in 2005. Affiliate marketing is marketing other companies products, and driving traffic to their websites through links on your website. A company like Walmart or eBay gives you an individual link to add to your website to generate traffic, and they pay you a commission or a percentage of the sale. There is no big secret to affiliate marketing. There is only learning how to drive traffic to your websites. You also need to learn what makes people buy or sign up for an offer, what makes good sales copy, how to write effective articles, and what are the most effective keywords to optimize your website.

I started by taking online college classes to learn how to design websites, and I would use any easy template to create HTML wonders on Geocities. I had tarot card websites filled with a twinkling star background, and another time, I went for a template where I created at least fifty different handmade wreaths with artificial flowers, took pictures of them with an old webcam, and somehow made a decent website with them. The tarot card website generated over 100 visitors a day because I had advertised “free tarot card readings”, and when I got all of the visitors information like email address, name, and astrological sign, I did the reading and had no idea of how to turn them into customers. My lame offer of a full tarot card report for $25 generated no sales. Because I was making no money, I was discouraged. I felt like all of my efforts were for nothing. I underestimated that I was creating experience for myself to eventually become a full-time Internet marketer.

In 2005, I started to learn more about everything Internet marketing related. I would read every and anybody’s blog. I would sign up for free ebooks, and participate in Internet marketing forums. It always seemed as if no one really wanted to give me the whole story. There was one exception. I have found that the Black Hat Marketers are more than willing to give you all of the tools you need to get traffic the wrong way. What I mean by the wrong way is, like everything else in life, shortcuts will eventually come back to slap you in the head. With Internet Marketing, Google usually does the slapping. Trust me, I have been slapped hard by Google many times.

This year, I vowed to do things differently. I have joined an Internet Marketing support group that finally gives me all of the answers I need. The Wealthy Affiliate program has saved me so much time and grief. If I have questions, I simply sign in, go to the forums and ask away. Someone always gives me a complete and honest answer. Wealthy Affiliate is wonderful, and it’s only about $30 a month. They give me web hosting space, software tools to write articles faster, an 8 week action plan, blog space, keyword tools, an easy website creator, access to a great forum with other internet marketing experts, and so much more.

I have finally started to thrive, and become inspired everyday with the Wealthy Affiliate program. Instead of making a few sales every month, I have started to generate sales on a regular basis. These sales pay my bills, buy my groceries, and fund my Internet businesses so that I can take my profits and grow them exponentially every month.

The interesting thing about the Wealthy Affiliate program is that they not only appeal to people who have been doing Internet marketing for years, they can take anyone with an interest and help them to make money consistently. My Wealthy Affiliate program membership has paid for itself many times over. Now I get more free ebooks, videos, tutorials, even massive keyword lists, website building software, article creation software, question and answer sessions in the forum, and 24 hour a day support. I really could not ask for more, and I can finally confidently say that I have the real tools that I need to become a really successful Internet marketer.

Carmen is an Internet marketer, and runs several websites. Wealthy Affiliate is starting to change my life. Get the support and tools you need to make money online. Let me send you the “FREE Internet Wealth Guide” that explains exactly how to start earning money online.

Article Marketing is Worth Your Time
By Shawn Burgy

Article Marketing is Worth your Time:

When someone thinks about a sole purpose of Article Marketing in there Internet practices, writing and submitting articles should be the first to consider. Whether your just starting out or are seasoned in the art of traffic building. Article Marketing can be one of the biggest traffic building keys that you need to learn. Building important Backlinks to your site is of key significance and also the main reason. You may ask why are these articles important to me and my site?

There are many reasons that Backlinks are important to your site, first being the search engines such as Google, Yahoo, MSN, Alexa and others, There spiders are looking for your site. When these spider search the Internet for your site, each of these articles with links are another vote for your website. This tells the SERPS the importance and how high in there searches that you should be. Thats why you’ve heard a lot of people talking about keywords and there relevancy. These are words in your articles that will make your site rank for those particular words.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO), is a very important step and you can see why, This measures up how well you’ve written and planned your website to rank for these words in your articles. Your thinking, Wow theres a lot to this article writing, Yes there is a lot to it. At this point don’t try to fry your brain thinking about it. Instead, think about what your website is about and just search and look for examples of what others have written. This can give you ideals on how to write your own articles. If your writing about your sites niche, you want your articles to be about your niche. One does not have a pizza website and write about how good there fish is. This is just good common sense in the making.

In any case don’t over think it, over thinking with have departmental affects on your efforts. Instead, let the articles you are writing flow and you will do well. You need to write as many articles as you possibly can with your time. To rank really high you will need plenty of good articles. In Article Marketing, keep to your subject and practice. You should have no problems starting out with 10 articles, give yourself room to breath. You will also write better articles in time. Some people hire others to write there articles. I personally don’t recommend that you do this, you should do this on your own. You won’t learn anything having someone else doing your work for you. Also when you see your first Page Rank(PR) update, You are going to be more satisfied because you took your site from nothing to where it will be.

Remember this process isn’t overnight, but well planned and written your Article Marketing campaign can go far. Once you do this a few times, you will have the process down to a T.

(Business marketing) Major SEO Success Stories

November 8th, 2008 admin Posted in marketing | No Comments »

By Luie De Von

There are many ways to get great rankings in the search engines, and many people think theyre a secret but thats just not true. Once, top 10 spots were very easy to obtain, but getting multiple top spots is now a thing of the past. Some people say that top 10 spots are very hard to get these days, but we have managed it on many occasions recently. Here are some of our success stories.

Every SEO company should strive to get your website listed in at least the top 20 although there are no guarantees, they shouldnt have much difficulty in achieving this if they use proper keyword placement. If a company cant get you ranked within the top 20 on some of your keywords then its time to look for another SEO company.

SEO success relies on inside knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking techniques. This, combined with testing websites before submission, will give you good results, as long as you keep it ethical.

SEO Success Stories from Clients.

R. Nishimoto (Desert Hot Sauce): “Search engine optimization took our company from a few sales a week to more than 60 sales per week. We could no longer run this business with only two people. I am convinced that without this we would still be back at a few sales or even be under by now. ”

AL (DVI Video Walls): “We are pleased with our web presence, many new customers, I will tally the sales increase at year-end. I know that the web page has now paid for itself at least once! More later, we are very busy - a couple competitors are going out of business so we are getting many panic calls.”

Jenny (Music Asylum): “Your search engine techniques have produced the best return on our advertising dollars which was even better than any promotion we have done in the past. I am talking about quantifiable results the company can attribute directly to our website. At first, I couldn’t see how your search engine work would make any difference based on the poor results from our old website. I have to give you credit though you got our site found on top of the major engines resulting in many calls, e-mails and eventual sales. Thanks.”

Chris (Legacy Golf): “We are very impressed with the short period of time that it took to get our website listed in the search engines, we hoped it would place high but never expect to be one of the top 3.”

(3rd Rock Internet Services): “Our Internet services company would not have any business if it were not for the efforts made to increase sales, being listed in the top 20 of the search engines was a great accomplishment that we were hoping would come true and now it has.”

Scott (XTS.NET) “The company was struggling before we had the site optimized and now we are able to stay in business and keep up with the demands of our clients.”

Companies like these are finding it ever more important to be placed where they can be found on the web if you think that search engine placement isnt necessary then think again. With the Internet business marketplace continuing to grow, youll have more competition to deal with every day.

When customers cant find a company, the business goes bankrupt. You need to get ahead of your competition, and stay ahead. Now is the time to prepare for the future, before its too late.

Five Exciting Ways to Achieve Success with Article Marketing
By Kelly Marion

Article marketing or the process of distributing keyword-focused articles to publishing sites is undoubtedly one of the most effective (but cheap) link building strategies.

Article submission sites and directories will allow you to include a link to your site on your articles’ resource box. If you write one quality article and you post it to fifty directories, you are guaranteed to build fifty quality inbound links for your website in no time. It’s that easy!

Here’s how you can succeed with article marketing:

1. Define your audience. There is no better way to serve your readers than knowing what they truly want or require from you. Be willing to spend some time with these people through blogs and forums so you’ll easily have an access to what they think and what they feel. Jot down their needs, demands, burning questions, pressing issues, and the things that they would like to learn. You can convert these to article topics so you can offer these people the kind of information that they are looking for.

2. Keep your readers interested. The battle doesn’t end the moment online users open your articles. You will need to get keep these people interested and lure them to read your articles in their entirety to boost your conversion rate. Use the inverted pyramid technique and by filling up your articles with valuable information. You may also include relevant and interesting quotes, examples, and trivia.

3. Make it sound more human. Build rapport and personal connection with your readers by making your articles sound like you are talking directly to these people. Use conversational tone and try hard to sound warm and friendly. You are free to share relevant personal stories or experiences or ask questions once in a while to make your articles sound very engaging.

4. Deliver informative articles. You can show your readers how much you appreciate the time they spend reading your articles by giving them all the information that they are looking for. These people must feel well-informed or empowered the moment they finish reading your copies. Offer answers to their burning questions, include guides that can empower them to do things on their own, and resolve their pressing issues by offering effective solutions or recommendations.

5. Keep it simple. One of your main priorities is to ensure that your readers will easily understand your content. Use understandable terms as much as possible. If you need highly technical terms or big words to better express your ideas, ensure that you define them first.
